Parked in front of Paint Ball battleground.  Good thing we left when we did.
PB enthusiasts (combatants?) were there early Sunday morning to wage war on each other. Very polite fellows.  There was an airforce base on the other side of the river and some of these fellows were very clean cut looking, maybe soldiers?
This is our spot behind the VFW in Yuma.  Drycamping wasn't too bad as long as you had water and food and a nice shady spot like this one.  That bike on my last post was something eh?  I'll try to download another picture of it from the interior angle.

Here I worked hard to get two photos included here.  Of course we are in Mexico right now and I am still trying to figure out why my photos aren't allowed to download.  I will succeed.

Next post coming up.

Hasta luego

  1. Hi Guys,
Finally got around to catching up on your blog. Everything sounds like it's going well with you once again, back in your happy place. It's great that your giving out some good advice to those heading down there; nothing like blazing the trail, eh? We're all doing well. Lou & RG spent the weekend in Las Vegas with family from Calif. Jon spent the weekend in Mount Vernon doing the Black Friday thing. David Boychuk landed a new position in Richmond starting this week. He's moving from Kamloops today and will spend a night or two with us before moving into a place he found in south Vancouver. Our first dump of snow has pretty much vanished already. The experts figure it's only the first of many this winter - oh fun! Anyway, enjoy your lack of snow and sub-zero temps. As always, take good care.
    Love,
    Bob & Cher

  2. Hey Outlaws - glad to hear you two are okay. We didn't hear from you for awhile and you haven't been blogging so we got a little worried.
Is your internet reception spotty this year?

p.s. Your favourite son AND your dog-in-law both say 'hola!'
